Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot
About

Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot tables are tables with a Progressive Jackpot. A Progressive Jackpot is a constantly accumulating prize. The current value of the Progressive Jackpot is displayed in the Lobby.

Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot tables are predefined Hold ‘em tables.

A percentage of the Progressive Jackpot is paid to the Player with a Bad Beat hand and a percentage to other Players who qualify for the jackpot.

A Bad Beat hand is when a Player with a good hand is beaten by a higher ranking hand. For example, Player A has Four of a Kind and is beaten by Player B who has a Straight Flush. Player A has the Bad Beat hand.

To qualify for a Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot:

  • The hand must be played at a Real, non-tournament table.
  • A minimum of four Players must receive cards at the start of the hand.
  • The hand must have contributed to the Progressive Jackpot.
  • The losing hand must be Four-of-a-Kind - 8’s or better.
  • Both the Player with the Bad Beat hand and the game winner must use both their pocket cards to qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot. The pocket cards must be a Pair if the hand contains four of a kind.

Player's do not qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot if they are forced to sit out by the sever, for that hand. For example, if it is a Player's first hand at the table, and they are seated between the Dealer and the small blind.

The contribution to the Progressive Jackpot is taken from the pot when the first rake is collected in a hand. The Jackpot contribution is only collected once during a hand. The value of the Jackpot contribution is $0.50.

Important:
The Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot is available in Texas Hold 'em only.
