FAQ:
What are the key differences I need to be aware of?
There are a few differences in our new Poker Room that you should be aware of. Firstly, upon your initial login to the Poker Room, you will be asked to choose an alias. An alias is how other players will see your name at the tables. For most players, you will be able to use your screen name as your alias, however some players will be required to choose a different alias. This is due to differences in allowable characters in our new software or possibly due to other players in the network using the same alias that you have selected.
What do I need to do to get the new version of DoylesRoom poker software?
If you have the original version of DoylesRoom software installed, simply launch your existing poker client and you will be prompted to perform an upgrade. If you are unable to perform an upgrade and you need to reinstall DoylesRoom software, please visit http://www.doylesroom.com/register/ and click on Download Now.
I can’t remember my password or I get an error that my login and password do not match. What should I do?
Send an email to support@dbpn.com requesting a password reset. If you know your screen name, please include it in your email. Once our Customer Service department initiates the password change, you will receive an email message to the email address you used when you registered. The email will contain a link to a web page that will allow you to choose another password.
I am logged in, but now I am being asked to create an alias. What is an alias?
Every DoylesRoom player will be asked to create an alias upon initially logging into the Poker Room. Your alias is how players will identify you during game play. You may still use your screen name as your alias – if it is not already being used by another player.
I get an error code that starts with an “E”. What does this mean?
Please contact customer support with the complete error number. It will be important for us to have the exact number of your error when you request assistance from our support team.
I can’t login and the Poker Room is telling me that I already have an account.
A screen will come up if you have played on any of the other poker rooms on the Microgaming Network. If you are receiving this message, please contact security@dbpn.com for assistance in resolving this issue.
I have reset my password and I still can not login.
Please email support@dbpn.com with your DoylesRoom screen name and the exact message you are receiving, and we will more than happy to assist you.
I receive a popup message in the Poker Room that says I am locked out.
You may have attempted to use an invalid password more than three times. If you have done this, the security system will automatically lock you out as a preventive action of possible fraudulent use of your account.
Other potential reasons for being locked out may include multiple users on one computer, or more than one DoylesRoom account registered to your IP address. Please email support@dbpn.com and they can easily assist you.
